RENTON Family

First Generation

1. Charles Renton was born in 20 Tower Street Portobello Ediburgh @ 8.20am 29 November 1922. Charles died 21 May 1965 in Western General Hospital @ 4.25pm at 42 years of age.

He married Isabella Kerr Hay Fiddler in Cannongate & Portobello Registry Office, 27 March 1948. Isabella was born in Royal Maternity Hospital Edinburgh @ 6.50am 20 December 1922. She was the daughter of John Fiddler and Elizabeth Ruthven. Isabella died 21 September 1981 in 19/6 Rutherford Drive Edinburgh @ 21.25pm, at 58 years of age.

He was baptized in St James's Church Portobello Edinburgh, 8 November 1923. Charles Renton was cremated at Seafeild Crematorium, Leith. Occupation: Shipyard Builder 1951.

Charles Renton and Isabella Kerr Hay Fiddler had the following children:

child 2 i. Maureen Fiddler Renton was born in Elsie Inglis Maternity Hospital Edinburgh @ 3.20am 24 February 1949. Maureen died 9 April 1983 in Royal Infirmary Hospital Edinburgh @ 3.00am at 34 years of age. She married Richard Philip Comerford in St John Vianney Roman Church Edinburgh, 10 May 1975. Richard was born in Simpsons Maternity Hospital Edinburgh 21 June 1954. (See Richard Philip Comerford for the continuation of this line.)

Maureen Fiddler Renton was cremated 14 April 1983 at Warriston Crematorium Edinburgh.

child 3 ii. Irene Renton was born in Elsie Inglis Maternity Hospital Edinburgh @ 11.00pm 22 March 1951. She married Thomas Mcluckie in Morningside Registrar Office, 27 November 1970. Thomas was born in 13 Craigmillar Castle Loan Edinburgh 5 August 1947. (See Thomas Mcluckie for the continuation of this line.)

Irene's Occupation: Telephonist BET 1966 AND 1973 in Thomas Scotts Forth Street Edinburgh. She was a student in Gilmerton Primary School Gilmerton Road Edinburgh, BET 1955 AND 1961. School: She was baptized in Lochend Parish Church, 6 May 1951.
