1. Alexander Nisbet was born 1787 Approx. Alexander died 1818 aprrox.

He married Mary Hepburn in Haddington, 11 January 1807. Mary was born in Birsay, Orkney, Scotland. 29 December 1769. She was the daughter of Rev.Thomas Hepburn and Jean Sutherland. Mary died 1823 Approx.

Alexander's Occupation: Flesher (Butcher).

Alexander Nisbet and Mary Hepburn had the following children:

child 2 i. Jean Nisbet was born 1808 approx. Jean died 1858 approx. She married William Proudfit 1834 approx. William died 1845 approx. (See William Proudfit for the continuation of this line.)

child 3 ii. Alexander Nisbet was born before 1856 approx, the first event for which there is a recorded date. Alexander died 1856 approx.

child 4 iii. Jessie Nisbet was born 1812 aprrox. Jessie died 1854 Approx in Usa. She married Nicol Sommerville 1834 approx. (See Nicol Sommerville for the continuation of this line.)
