1. Alan Flett was born in Simpsons Maternity Hospital Edinburgh 16 April 1959.

He married Susan Paterson 12 October 1985. Susan was born in Elsie Inglis Maternity Hospital Edinburgh 5 March 1953. She is the daughter of William Williamson Paterson and Rose Mulcairns Walker.

Alan Flett and Susan Paterson had the following children:

2 i. Lynsay Roseann Alvine Flett was born in Simpsons Maternity Hospital Edinburgh @ 6.30pm 14 December 1987.

3 ii. Amy Julie Flett was born in St Johns Hospital Livingston @ 12.09pm 30 August 1990.
