Second Generation

John Fiddler (Robert) was born 17 December 1833. John died 26 December 1918 in New Royal Infirmary Edinburgh at 85 years of age.

He married Hannah Wark in Lauder House Grange Age, 12 September 1865. Hannah was born BET 1844 AND 1852. She was the daughter of James Wark and Agnes Cunningham. Hannah died 18 November 1903 in 20 India Place Edinburgh @ 00.50pm Aged 51.

John's Occupation: Lance Corporal 41st Highland Light Infantry 1865 at Edinburgh Castle.

John Fiddler and Hannah Wark had the following children:

3 i. Mary Fiddler was born in 9 Primrose Place Abbeyhill Edinburgh @ 10.30am 5 May 1880.

Mary died 8 December 1934 in 19 India Place Edinburgh @ 2.00pm at 54 years of age.

4. John Fiddler (John, Robert) was born in 1 Crows Cottages Edinburgh @ 3.30pm 30 August 1883.

John died 11 February 1948 in 18 Lochend Avenue Edinburgh @ 8.50pm at 64 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Ruthven in Edinburgh, 9 December 1904.

Elizabeth was born in 1. Semple Court Edinburgh @ 9.15am 8 June 1887. She was the daughter of William Ruthven and Elizabeth Thornburgh.

She married William Mckenzie Nelson in St Stephens Parish Church Edinburgh, 19 August 1927.

6 ii. Mary (Dolly) Edwin Johnston Fiddler was born in 38. India Place Edinburgh 3 July 1907. Mary died in South Shields Newcastle.

She married Robert Martin Center in St. Stevens Churhch Edinburgh, 5 August 1936.

Mary's Occupation: Crystal Worker in Edinburgh Crystal Works Easter Road Edinburgh. Mary (Dolly) Edwin Johnston Fiddler was cremated at Seafield Crematorium Leith.

8 iv. Robert Fiddler was born in 10 Haugh Street Edinburgh @ 4.55am 27 August 1912. Robert died 17 March 1914 in City Hospital Parish Of Colinton @ Aged 1year 6months, at 1 years of age.

9 v. Jessie Ross Fiddler was born in Church Place Edinburgh 20 October 1913. Jessie died 2 October 1964 in 18 Lochend Avenue Edinburgh at 50 years of age. She resides in Scotland BET 1931 AND 1964.

  Jessie Ross Fiddler was cremated October 1964 at Warriston Crematorium.

10 vi. James Millan Fiddler was born in 10 Haugh Street Edinburgh @ 1.50am 13 March 1920. James died 16 December 1990 in Royal Infirmary Hospital Edinburgh @ 18.14pm, at 70 years of age.

  James Millan Fiddler was cremated 21 December 1990 at Seafeild Crematorium, Leith.

11 vii. Isabella Kerr Hay Fiddler was born in Royal Maternity Hospital Edinburgh @ 6.50am 20 December 1922. Isabella died 21 September 1981 in 19/6 Rutherford Drive Edinburgh @ 21.25pm at 58 years of age.

She married Charles Renton in Cannongate & Portobello Registry Office, 27 March 1948. Charles was born in 20 Tower Street Portobello Ediburgh @ 8.20am 29 November 1922. 12 viii Ronald Fiddler (John Wark, John, Robert) was born in Royal Maternity Hospital Edinburgh 6 February 1926. He married Christina Clarke Lang in Leith Registrar Office, 22 June 1956. Christina was born in 29. Henderson Gardens Leith. @ 2.55pm 15 April 1928. She is the daughter of John Lang and Alice Downie Clarke.

Occupation: Steel Erector BET 1957 AND 1980 in Forth Road Bridge Scotland, Humber Bridge Hull Yorkshire England.

Ronald Fiddler and Christina Clarke Lang had the following child:
