1. James Bamberry\bambury was born before 24 March 1827, the first event for which there is a recorded date. James died before 1901.

He married Agnes Sanderson. Agnes died 26 March 1873 in Gilmerton Edinburgh Aged 93 @ 11.45am (pauper).

James Bamberry\bambury and Agnes Sanderson had the following children:

2 i. William Bamberry\bambury was born before 4 April 1882, the first event for which there is a recorded date. William died 4 April 1882 in Gilmerton Aged 62 @5.30am. He married Jane Sharp.

3 ii. James Bamberry\bambury was born before Pauper formerly Slater, the first event for which there is a recorded date. James died 19 September 1868 in Gilmerton Parish Of Liberton Edinburgh. He married Janet Cormick in St Cuthberts Edinburgh, 20 April 1840.

Occupation: 1868 Pauper formerly Slater.

5 iv. Catherine Bamberry\bambury was born in Liberton Edinburgh 24 March 1827. Catherine died 12 November 1901 in 2. Brandfield Street Edinburgh @11.30pm Aged 74, at 74 years of age. She married David Ruthven in Liberton Edinburgh, 14 December 1849. David was born 1830. He was the son of William Ruthven and Harriet\hariot Donaldson. David died 16 July 1898 in Royal Infirmary Hospital Edinburgh @ 6.45am Aged 68. (See David Ruthven for the continuation of this line.)

She was christened in Witnesses David Watt & James Gordon @ Liberton Edinburgh, 20 April 1827.

Second Generation

4. Robert Bamberry\bambury (James) was born before 31 December 1852, the first event for which there is a recorded date. Robert died 24 December 1899 in 120 The Pleasance Edinburgh @ 5.30pm Aged 68.

He married Maria Mercer Mackie 31 December 1852. Maria died before 1899.

Occupation: Mason.
