She was the daughter of, father unknown and Jane Charters.
Jeanett died March 26, 1907 in Allegheny City, Allegheny County, PA, at 87 years of age.

Hay was a Soap Manufacture June 23, 1870 in Allegheny City, Pittsburgh.
He was listed as a resident in the census report in McClure Township, Allegheny Pittsburgh, June 23, 1870, age 53.
