12. Elisabeth Knox was born in 1570.

She was married to John Welsh in 1594.
John Welsh was born in 1558 in Collinton, Scotland.
He died in 1622. He was a rival of his father-in-law, John Knox, in genius, piety and zeal.
John was tried for treason and first sentenced to death.
Later he was deported from Scotland to France, for life.

Elisabeth Knox and John Welsh had the following children:
