JOSEPH LECK, A.M., took his degree at the Univ. of Edinburgh 7th April 1718, licen. by the Presb. of Dunse 4th Jan. 1726, called 17th June, pres. by Commissioners for Andrew Wauchope of Niddry in Aug., and ord. 23d Sept. 1731; died 1st Sept. 1785, aged about 87, in 54th min. He marr. in March 1733 Anna Scot, in the par. of Sprouston, and had Jean, William, Henry, Thomas, and Susan, who marr. Mr Ainslie, Sheriff-substitute of Roxburghshire.-[Edin. 1786. WILLIAM BLACKIE, pres. by Andrew Wauchope, Esq., of Niddry Marischal, 11th Nov. 17 85, and ord. 4th May after; died 23d Dec. 1828, in his 7 9th year, and 43d min. He marr. 1829. JOHN BAIRD, eldest son of the Rev. James B., min. of Swinton, licen. by the Presb. of Dalkeith 25th March 1823, pres. by the Tutors of Andrew Wauchope, Esq., of Niddry Marischal in March, and ord. 18th June 1829; died 29th Nov. 1861, aged 63, in 33d Min.
