1826. WILLIAM FLEMING, a native Of Strathavon, studied at the Univ. of Glasgow, licen. by the Presb. of Hamilton 28th April 1818, became assistant successively to the Rev. Dr Pollock, Govan, and the Rev. Dr Taylor of St. Enoch's, Glasgow, pres. by George IV. in Feb. and ord. 11th May 1826. Had D.D. from the Univ. of Glasgow in April 1829, and was trans. to Old Kilpatrick 24th July same year.-[Presb. Reg., &c.]

ROBERT JAMIESON, son of Mr J., baker, Edinburgh, educated at the High School and Univ. there, licen. by the Presb. of Biggar 13th Feb. 1827, pres. by George IV. in Oct. 1829, and ord. 22d April following; elected Presb. 1838. WALTER WOOD, A.M., son of Dr James W., physician, Edinburgh, after being educated at the Academy, acquired his degree at the Univ. there 7th April 1832, licen. by the Presb. of St. Andrews 15th June 1836, pres. by Queen Victoria in March, ord. 3d May 1838, and had a new church built same year. On joining in the Free Secession, and signing the deed of Demission, he was declared no longer a min. of this Church 20th June 1843; he was adm. to the Free Ch. Elie, 20th March 1845. He marr.
